Powel Pattern
Five patterns may be used as graphic elements in Powel’s marketing.
Each of the five patterns has been inspired by Powel and the four departments of the company: Construction, Asset Performance, Environment and Smart Energy. These patterns shall be used in communications related to the respective departments.
Guidelines
The department patterns shall be used as created, and shall not be altered in any way. One colour, one white, and one black version of each pattern shall be included in the file. The colour variants have a gradient that transitions from the additional colour that represents the department to ‘Powel-blue’.
When a pattern is inserted into a layout, it shall always begin at a corner or an edge. It shall also follow a single gradient that grades the pattern from 0–100% opacity. This means that the pattern should have 100% opacity at the corner or edge from which it originates, and follow the gradient outwards to 0 %. The pattern shall never appear to suddenly stop/be cut off.
It is not permitted to rotate the patterns at angles other than 180°.
Using a Pattern with the Logo
Powel Pattern
Emitting from the Powel logo
As a unit, the Powel pattern is based on circles. When this pattern appears on a surface that also includes the logo, the circles should originate with the circle in the logo. ‘Filename’ is a separate, uncropped version of the Powel pattern. This shall be used when the pattern originates from the logo.
